TRIGUN: MULTIPLE BULLETS - Scans and Translation by Team Overhaul

Here’s the first release in our Overhaul 2.0 project. With our own scans and more control over the quality, we’re pleased to say that we have reached whole new levels of crisp and clean art and we hope you will all appreciate it too.

Not all the chapters in this volume have ever made it online, so those who don’t own the physical copy are missing out on amazing content. So we’re happy to be the first in a decade to work on this volume and give it to the fans in its entirety.

We apologize for the potential inconvenience with reading this release online, as we’re still working on getting our project uploaded onto manga hosting sites.

“No matter how colossal a power you obtain, no matter how gigantic an army you bring with you, I ain’t scared. While you’ve abandoned a hundred, I’ve connected with a thousand. While you’ve destroyed a thousand, I’ve been helped by ten thousand. So what’s an army of a few thousand?”

“Whether or not you’re afraid doesn’t change anything. Your numbers are nothing before my Master who’s obliterated millions.”

image

“We mere mortals are inconsequential to a god like him. His plans will succeed in the end - with or without my help or your interference.”

He wasn’t even going to try to argue that question. knowing his words would only get twisted further. There’s a huff as he watches Legato continue to drink from the glass like a fucked up wine tasting. Vash’s tongue gliding over teeth behind closed lips, it’s still very tempting to just grab the glass while wiping that stupid smirk off Legato’s face but- You killed someone for that, didn’t you?

image

“Not yet. I’m saving the rest for later.” He wouldn’t want to let such a tasty treat go to waste. Somewhere around here there was some poor bastard bound and gagged, trapped in the closet of a cheap hotel room with wounds slowly draining into a cooler while the staff seemed suspiciously unaware that room existed.

“O-oh… it’s you.” Look Vash doesn’t want trouble. Please. Look at him, he’s shakin’ in his boots.

“Don’t mind me, just doing my job…” Stalking from the shadows, fueling nightmares, picking off those who would associate with Vash until he learns his lesson. The usual.

“Come on Vash, this is pathetic, even for you.” Legato makes a point of holding out the glass of blood he was currently drinking. Slowly waving it past the other’s face, just out of reach but tantalizingly close before pulling it back to his own lips and taking a sip. “It’s delicious!“

unprompted || always accepting

image

God, why was everyone making this difficult? Vash’s hands twitch at his sides as Legato waves the glass around, it was tempting to just snatch it from him and chug it like he’d never learned any manners, but he doesn’t. Instead, he’s perfectly still, watching as its back to being consumed by the other man. I just don’t wanna hurt anybody

image

“So stopping your adversaries with non-lethal bullet wounds doesn’t count as hurting anyone?” He chuckled quietly to himself before taking a large gulp, letting a bit of it run down his chin for a moment before licking it up with a contented sigh. “It’s still fresh, nice and warm with a strong flavor, like a good cup of coffee. Only better.”

Happy 4th birthday to my beautiful desktop computer, Bifröst!

On screen is the photo from when I first got it running. It’s come a long way, both in terms of upgrades and lugging it half way across the country.

It always felt good when people liked your cooking. Even if they probably didn’t know what they were eating (or so he assumed), but food was food. Colt turned back to the meat he was cutting for the rest of the order.

image

He shook his head as if to dislodge a fly as the words were whispered into his head. Did they mean this stranger here?

“So, where ya from? If ya don’t mind me askin’. You’re a good deal more polite than most folk ‘round here.”

image

“Nowhere in particular I guess. Originally: that place is long gone and hasn’t been on a map in decades if it ever was on any to begin with and that hellhole is better left forgotten, more recently: I go wherever my duty requires and I’m hardly ever in any one place for too long.” Knives didn’t need anyone wandering into his territory and it’d be a shame for Legato to have to eliminate a source of a good meal so long out from humanity’s end. Raw human was fine, but it got old after a while and when most people serving it cooked did so either in ignorance of their supply chain or out of desperation instead of a regular menu item it was hard to find a place that cooked it just right rather than just treating it like whatever meat they were used to cooking. “My manners have little to do with where, more so that my Master doesn’t need hooligans running around representing him.” For the most part. There were unfortunately exceptions. Legato took another bite, indulging in the savory treat to avoid spoiling his good mood with thoughts of his coworkers. “This is very good by the way.”

downtheriverstream:

Ten?! Hell yeah!
image

“Comin’ right up! Gonna take a minute or two to get ‘em all, but hell, take one on the house while ya wait.” It wasn’t like he was swimming in customers. Colt gestured to one of the sticks slowly roasting before them. Even if the meat was… questionable… (a bit of rat mixed in with bandit), he’d learned long ago how to properly season and cook meat, even this kind, so he was confident enough that the man wouldn’t change his mind after tasting one.

Free food on top of his order was never a bad thing. Legato was definitely going to make a note of this place for future reference. “Thank you, sir!” Waiting was definitely not a problem, not when he didn’t have to put up with the hordes of other vermin in the meantime. Especially not if he got an extra appetizer out of it. The man reached out to claim his prize, biting into it with zero hesitation.

image

“mmhm.” He grumbled with a nod as he chewed. Commentary could wait, he’d been trained better than to speak with his mouth full.

adelha-mathilde:

image

The comment Legato makes has Adelha chuckle in rich amusement. The kitten batting her front paws at Adelha’s fingers to keep purring and playing. The dragon Fae in human appearance nodding at the given question. “There is barely a spare moment to be found for me in this sanctuary. Being appointed as caretaker of this island means lots of responsibilities. From tending to injured wildlife to ensuring the Fae that dwell here try to behave themselves.”

image

Another of the Aerials comes flying over from the forest to perch on Adelha’s head and stare at Legato. This Aerial lacking arms to instead have bird wings and bird feet. The creature giving a twitter before speaking to Legato directly with a soft yet sweet voice. “So this odd human is the visitor from far away. Smells like much sand and blood to us. A unique blending of aromas to us. The dragon calls this one Azure. We do tend to enjoy causing trouble for the dragon. It amuses us to watch as the dragon hunts for their missing tools. A fun game of hide and find is always amusing to us.”

Adelha openly sighs to not look too upset. The Aerial calling itself Azure soon laying it’s form over the crown of Adelha’s head to watch as Legato washes potatoes with a curious expression. “It has been many seasons since we saw a guest visit the dragon. But that one was a wolfman that washed up on the shores. You are very different from any other guests we have seen. Not many guests walk in through the magic of the fog. But they always prove to be fun to watch and or play with. Perhaps you would play with this one sometime?”

“Good luck with that.” And the human thought he was a workaholic, apparently he wasn’t quite there yet, the rest of his kind were just that damn lazy. “I suppose a higher being like yourself can manage a lot more than a lowly mortal, but that still must be exhausting.”

He tried to keep his attention on his assigned task, but that wasn’t so easy with the strange presence pinging on his psychic radar and knowing that it was watching him quite closely. There wasn’t much on his home world that he couldn’t immediately recognize given how few species were tough enough to survive there and how much traveling he did to carry out his orders. Here though it was entirely different, and far more of the life he sensed around him was palpably intelligent if not powerful enough to present an active threat. It was distracting enough as is, but the aerial talking to him was too much to ignore even if doing so wouldn’t have been rude. He looked up again to address the small fae.

image

“You’d be correct. My world is nothing like this place, it’s desolate and unforgiving. I must confess your world seems equally strange to me as I do to you.” Legato chose his words carefully, hoping to stay in his hosts’ good graces. “Fortunately it appears your taste in entertainment is far kinder than can be expected from the locals back home. But even so perhaps you shouldn’t be so harsh in messing with your hardworking dragon.“

Once again he looked down to pay closer attention to the potatoes. “Though unfamiliar I assure you I’m nothing too special. Just a human, every bit as imperfect as all the rest. Although I’d hope being aware of my flaws and putting forth the effort to do better instead of denying my limitations makes me more tolerable and at least slightly more worthy to serve at my Master’s side.” Even with his powers, even if he could be considered the best human to ever live, he would still never be anything more than human - nothing special and slated to die and be forgotten like all the rest of the parasites. “I’m not particularly good company.” He shook his head, still not looking back up as he answered Azure’s questions. “I don’t really play games.” Not unless toying with his prey counted.
